We met the way so many do these days, through the magic of the internet. After Gail confirmed Larry wasn't some kind of weirdo, we met for our first date exactly where you might imagine Gail would want a first date to be, a bubble tea shop. We both felt an attraction and after weeks of Larry trying to pin her down, Gail decided to give him a real shot.
After dating, flying to Taipei to meet Gail's family, and surviving COVID together, Larry faked a birthday picnic for Gail at Potomac Park in DC to propose. Thankfully she said "Yes!". Now that we've made it here, we are excited to celebrate this wonderful day with our family and closest friends.
Meet us in the Grand Salon on the 8th floor of the Mandarin Oriental. Find your seat then Gail and Larry will join you shortly to tie the knot!
Feel free to get up and mingle or grab a drink, Gail and Larry will return shortly and we can start the meal at 12!
Heart of Asia

The Mandarin Oriental Taipei is accessible from either the Taipei Arena or Nanjing Fuxing stations on the Songshan-Xindian (Green) Line, or the Nanjing Fuxing station on the Wenshu (Brown) Line. The hotel is also accessible by multiple bus lines, just check google maps for the most convenient ones. (Don't forget to tap when getting on and off the buses!)
